Probably pre-PS/2 port, so a serial rs-232 connection....

Same for mouse.

BTW, my first notebook was a Grid 1790.

Had various others prior to that which were not "really" notebooks. Like 
an Ericsson Plasma screen portable (circa '85).  Much better than the 
Compaq lugable.

BTW, does your biplane have ADS-B out?  ;)
I am working on a proposal to ICAO for adding authentication to the 
messages as we are doing for GNSS...
