rsync question?

rsync should just use the keys I always use the full spec for the 
foreign box i.e.

rsync -auv local_path remote_user at machinename:remote_path


rsync -auv remote_user at machinename:remote_pathlocal_path


should just work provided each machines public ssh key is in the others 
~/.ssh/authorized_keys
