Question about file transfer to Android device

What version of Ubuntu are you using, and, what version of Android?

My wife is a web application systems developer who works on MS Windows 
based applications development, and she currently runs MS Win 11. She 
told me that, with MS Windows 11, and, she believes also with MS Win 10, 
that she has had no problems with file operations with her personal 
cellphone, which runs Android V15.

So, I am wondering whether Ubuntu 22.04.x is simply not compatible with 
Android versions after v12.
