That is good to know thanks, still murky though, just because you have 
ESM doesn't mean Ubuntu will get around to patching every security issue 
in Universe, just what
some customers are willing to pay extra for I guess(by sponsoring a 
patch as you mention), but that's a very unreliable way to treat things, 
since the customer has
no idea what issues may get fixed(or even which issues may NOT get 
fixed, unless they are manually tracking security of the packages 
independently of Ubuntu security
advisories which would be quite a headache).
