I installed the PPP dialer as suggested and it works like
a charm. Thank you. It would be nice though to establish the
reason the networking is faulty. I verified the integrity of
the installation cds, so there shouldn't be a problem there,
and I haven't been able to find any record of anyone else with
the same problem.
