When I plug in the camera I get the message:
"A camera has been detected. There are photos on the camera. Would you
like to add these pictures to your album."
I then click on Import Photos and the message comes up.
Because everything works fine when I log in as root I assumed that it
was not a problem with the interface being used by another device, nor a
difficulty in mounting the camera.
