Just to complete this discussion, there are unofficial releases for 
other architectures here: 
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ports/releases/feisty/release/

It's probably not worth making these available on the toaster, but if 
anybody's wondering what happened to the PowerPC version, or you have an 
IA64, UltraSparc or for that matter a Playstation 3 needing some Ubuntu 
goodness, now you know where to download it...
