I think you've got it spot on, from my experience SMME's do not only 
need webtops, but spend most of their time with POS/ accounting packages.

 From what I've tested; ie: cubit(Andre has promised more scaled down 
versions), Quasar, GNucash, which all do the job adequately it's just 
the interface learning curve is too much.


But I find Clients do not want to give up on interfaces such as Pastel 
or Quickbooks.
IF we could just get a company like IQ accounting to port to linux?? 
*dreaming* MAybe I should forward them a copy of the thread.
So more attention needs to be put into Accounting packages with similar 
interfaces, especially keyboard driven apps.ie; not searching for mice 
to delete etc.
I had a small client today forking the usual loads of R???? for 2* 
Winblows licences to run QB and email. Could have bought a nice EEE with 
that or kept the wolf away for a while. *Sickening*
