Hi Jonathan

Yes it works like a charm in Windows. I did look yesterday again for a
firmware update but nothing new.

With accessibility in mind what will you recommend Ubuntu or Kubuntu? We
deal with blind and partially sighted people and one reason for me trying
Linux is to help them with a more affordable solution. We've heard that Orca
is good but runs on Gnome.

Hi Andre,

As I said I'm no expert, so am running out of ideas for you.

Can you connect to your router via wireless in windows (Or verify the 
router is working some other way)?

If you can connect via a cat5 cable directly you could try wifi-radar in 
ubuntu or KWiFiManager for kubuntu. Just install them via Applications 
Add/Remove. Also, personally, I would make sure I had the latest 
firmware for the router.
