I Agree, it would be great if we could get something going, I would
definately be interested.

I know this  slightly off topic, but years back I used to have a friend who
was into ham radios, they used to organise "boot" sales, where everybody
would meet at a certian place and would bring all sorts of interesting items
you could buy, books, electronics, etc, chances were, that somebody there
had something you needed lying around that you could buy or use.

This could be a possible idea to get something going along with a workshop,
everybody has loads of PC stuff lying around & possibly a tux or two.
