[ubuntu-za] How To - A form of workshop

Hi folks,
These ideas of workshops are all great, but they have one snag: You need to be
there. The Ubuntu-ZA LoCo covers a large area, so while we might have a lot of
people on the mailing list, not everyone would be able to make it to a
workshop. On top of that, if you *do* want to have a workshop, you need to
organise a venue, computers, etc. A bit of a hassle really.
One thing that is still fairly under-utilised is the wiki. We have a wonderful
looking front page, but unfortunately it doesn't go much deeper than that.
Why don't we start creating a How To section on the wiki? If you know how to
do something in Ubuntu or Kubuntu, and you reckon other folks would benefit
from it, create a page (like "HowTo:Using your phone as a modem") and type it
up.
Don't be shy about it, even if you don't know that much, what you *do* know
can help others who are just starting with Ubuntu.
There's an index of How To's, so don't forget to add your page to the How To
index.
