I'm not too concerned if I have to do a complete reinstall - the thing that
I'm concerned about is whether or not the 64bit version supports a lot of
software; it seems that there are frequently issues with various pieces of
software (e.g. ffmpeg) that only apply to the 64bit versions - I wonder how
much of a speed increase I'll see if I upgrade...
