Thank you corrie for posting the link. Things have kinda been crazy.

David Thanks for getting the ball rolling with creating the wiki page
and starting things off.

Basically the just of the meeting came down to more "in real life"
meetings and events. Our release parties tend to have a pretty decent
turn out but for the rest of the year we tend to be a mailing list
support group.

Idea's included some sort of tutorial evening or something we any one
can host/run/organise something on a feature about Ubuntu they find
useful. It doesn't matter how simple or advanced. Things like setting
up a home network using ubuntu (basic dhcp, squid and apt-cacher-ng
set-up).

Ubuntu-za is a very demographically sparse community with having
people from all around South Africa and a few people not even from
Africa. So the one idea of getting Team contacts in each City/Town to
be "ubuntu representatives" for their area and help organise and drive
event in their area.

This idea is still in its infancy so any suggestions comments as
always are more then welcome.

David
