[ubuntu-za] Xfix, problem with video

I dropped down to shell, but can't seem to find /etc/X11. I've used cd to change into /etc, but X11 is not listed. I can see if from another partition, but not inside the Ubuntu installation. Where is it, am I navigating right, is there another command I should use?

there might be a backup of your original xorg.conf file in /etc/X11/
.copy it back to xorg.conf and test it. as far as i know xfix always
makes a backup.
