Hi Reenen,
I have an Acecad Graphics tablet working under Intrepid after some
xorg.conf fiddling. Wacom Tablets are far better supported out of the box
and are of high quality... along with a high price, but definitely go for
Wacom if possible.
What does he want to do? Inkpad and The GIMP both work very well with the
tablet and it can also replace the mouse as a general movement device.
I don't use video editing software myself, but a friend is evaluating
various packages at present.... contact him at claxton at polka.co.za for an
informed recommendation.
Cheers
Tim
