Subject: [ubuntu-za] Terminal emulator on a socket
Ok, another interesting one...
My laptop does not have a serial port so I generally use a device server
for development. The device server gives me 4 adjustable serial ports
(232/422/485) but make them available as TCP/IP sockets.
I've connected a console device to one of the ports. If I connected it
to a direct serial port I could have used the CuteCom or MiniCom
terminal emulators to access the console. What do I do in this case
where the console is on a socket?
