Hi

Yes that's normal when an installation is interrupted - u can run the recommended command without fear.

:-)

Subject: [ubuntu-za] Ubuntu error

I ran Synaptic and it wouldn't complete the downloads I requested. Now
it came up with the following:

E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'sudo dpkg --configure
-a' to correct the problem.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.

I'm not a techy and I have this particular kind of fear for the term "sudo"

Any advice?
