If I go system , preferences display
Then it says It appears your graphics driver does not support the
necessary extension to use this tool. Do you want to use your graphics
driver vendors tool instead. If I say yes it brings up the nvidia
xserver settings window. and a little window saying You do not appear to
be using the nvidia x driver.
Please edit your x configuration file (just run nvidia-xconfig as root)
and restart your xserver.
And when I type in sudo nvidia-xconfig  it says command not found.
Where has that command gone to?
