[ubuntu-za] Video chat alternatives to Skype? Ekiga etc

I used gmail account details. My account was previously enabled for
google talk so I do not know if this is a requirement for Empathy.

The screen sharing and video chat that I did was between two empathy
users using google account details. I do not know anybody with other
accounts (eg Jabber, QQ) to try it out with but if I understand it
correctly you can use Empathy between different accounts. So I can not
give you feedback on that.

Hope this helps you.

Andre
