You can also try Super Grub Disk (google it to download and burn to cd)
You boot into it and once there, It is very hand with loads of options...
You can boot straight into windows if you need to get it running urgently.
You can also restore the Windows MRB and replace grub very easily, and then
reinstall grub afterwards.
