[ubuntu-za] Sync Evolution with Google Calendar

Hi Everyone

Im looking into setting up Evolution calendar to sync with google calendar.
After reading a bit about it in the forums I have come across two main
options. Both involve making a new calendar, but the choice boils down to
making the new calendar with either the "Google Calendar" setting, or using
the "CalDAV" setting.

I have read conflicting reports about both methods, and some stating that
the "Google Calendar" setting in Evolution has been deprecated. Others
mention issues with the CalDAV syncing.
What I would like to know, is which is the best option to choose, and if
anyone has had success with either option. Also there are a number of
different settings and urls for the CalDAV setting which I would love
someone to shed light on :)
