A friend of mine woul like to know:

Hi

I’m want to start playing with a GPS receiver on Ubuntu.
Thus, I am looking for  a good/nice SatNav (Satelite Navigation) software
for Ubuntu.
Also, are there any commercial ones from the likes of Garmin or TomTom?

Or just any cool GPS applications.
