Hi all
We will be having a CodeJam session at Software Freedom Day 2010
[http://wiki.softwarefreedomday.org/2010/Africa/SouthAfrica/Pretoria
and http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=136339953064060].
Developers are invited to join us at SFD2010 and work on an Open
Source project of their choice. To take part in the CodeJam, register
at [http://tinyurl.com/sfdpta-codejam] and join us at SFD2010 on the
18th of September with your laptop. We start at 08:00 and will be till
15:00. Power points and an internet connection will be provided
(network cable and WiFi available).
Meccer have kindly donated 10 PCs for us to use at CodeJam. We plan
to install various versions of Ubuntu and Fedora (32bit and 64bit) on
these machines to provide testing platforms. If you have an idea for
another use of the PCs, let us know.
Any questions, comments or suggestions can be sent to
"igalpin+codejam" [a_t] gmail[_dot_] com
Kind regards,
Ian Galpin
