My 10.04 install was a dream compared to the 10.10 freezing issue. I still
have 10.04 installed on my laptop and it has yet to freeze on me. Currently
my 10.10 has frozen 5 times this week so far. I am running on the
2.6.35-24-generic kernel with official Nvidia drivers installed. I will look
in to installing a later kernel from the
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline site.
I see it has .deb files. Do I just download those and install them? I'm
assuming I install the headers first and then the image .deb file?
