Good question, I have no idea. I'm at work now and all this is on my home
PC. Ill go check this afternoon and let you know.
Knowing myself, I would have most probably used the most recent/top
version of whatever was available, so if ext4 was there, I would've used
it.
I simply created the partition in BootIT, and then reformatted it during
the installation. So I can't see it not working.
Is there a big difference between ext3 and ext4?

But to be safe, I will check and make sure for you.
