A little addition to the above:
I own an Acer Aspire 5332. I bought it nearly a year ago with Windows7
installed. I immediately removed the Windows & loaded Ubuntu 9.10. Since
then I've upgraded to 10.04. As mentioned above for the other Acer
Aspire, installation was easy & problem-free, with all keys, and
built-in bits&pieces working right off the bat, including the webcam &
wireless LAN. Bluetooth dongles & all other USB devices (including
cellular modems - on phone & straight-USB) have all just simply worked
as they are meant to when plugged in.
