There may be no direct pressure on them to do so, but the part of the
CPA about retailers being obliged to refund unused returned items would
mean that they should refund deleted installations, which might prompt
them to offer non-Windows machines to avoid the rigmarole.

The mere fact of launching the case would help increase demand, and
perhaps give favourable profile to LUGs/ Linux etc.
