[ubuntu-za] Microsoft makes XP death clock

There was another news article today that I think is much more
relevant to the Ubuntu community: It said Gingerbread will be ported
to x86. So you will get x86 tablets with a couple of USB ports, WLAN,
SD card slot, touchscreen and a long list of other features.

So it will be quite practical to use it as a laptop or desktop
replacement. Replace Gingerbread with Ubuntu, add a USB keyboard and
perhaps an external hard drive. And off course, it will fall outside
the Windows tax net.

And as the public becomes more familiar with Android, more and more
laptops will appear with Android preinstalled.

Regards,
Nic
