I presume you're referring to the link I sent you? I don't use Ubuntu (I 
use Kubuntu which is slightly different) but if you look for "screen 
resolution" or "screen settings" I imagine you'll find the app that 
tells you what your screen resolution is.

BTW Jan, you don't need to click "Reply All" when you want to reply to 
e-mails on the mailing list. If you just click "Reply" your e-mail 
client will send your reply back to the mailing list.
