Spamming who or what? And why?

Vacation messages have their role I fear the one being used is poorlu
implemented as their are plenty of headers in the mail to this list
that identify it as such and a good vacation responder shoudl be able
to see this and not send an autoresponse to such messages

The correct thing to do would be for the list-admin to temporarily
disable Andre's email delivery and send him a note so that he can
reenable it when he returns.

Instead of riding off in to the sunset perhaps Andre will return at
sunrise on his High Horse!
