[ubuntu-za] Stop the Anti-Unity / Gnome 3 FUD!

Hi All
The trend to mobile devices means that screen "real estate" cannot be
wasted by permanent "taskbars" and "window decorations". When we had
desktops this was ok. But why keep something permanently displayed on a
small screen? Each pixel is a precious place to display useful information
to the user - think of "Tron".
The desktop interface as invented at Xerox PARC labs by Douglas Engelbart
will become obsolete. The Unity interface is an attempt to accept that
reality and move on.
My 2c
Cheers
