[ubuntu-za] Windows 7 missing from grub?

Yesterday evening I bit the bullet and installed Ubuntu 10.10 on my
Thinkpad-T500 that already had Windows 7 installed and all went well,
including rebooting into both Linux and Windows 7. So I switched off and
 went to bed.
This morning on booting grub does not appear to be able to find Windows
 7?
If, under Ubuntu, I look in System->Administration->Disk Utility I can
see Windows 7 partition at /dev/sda2 clearly marked Windows7_OS and if I
go into Places->Windows7_OS I can see all the folders and files that are
 needed.
I suspect that this means that I have not inadvertantly lost that
 Windows7 partition.
The question remains how do I get grub to see Windows 7 again?
