Agreed!

If you're in a rush and forget to push changes up, or forgot to pull 
down before making changes, there could be problems.

Most CVS's are good at merging such conflicts, for text files. For some 
binary formats it gets tricky, and can leave your repo in an unusable 
state, until you manually resolve the conflicts.

Dropbox does automatic syncing, by default, and keeps versions of 
changes too :)
