[ubuntu-za] What laptop to buy?

Hi list!

Thanks for you input, just an update on my plans.

I decided on the Lenovo ThinkPad x100e with the single core Athlon Neo
processor. Looks like the forums say it works fine with Lucid.
The x100e is on sale at makro for R3999, which is a serious deal for a
ThinkPad.

I am sad that I can't get the x100e with the dual core Neo, as it
outperforms EVERYTHING in the netbook category.

I will let you know as soon as possible about my experiences etc. I am
planning on installing Lucid netbook version on it. And maybe for interest's
sake see if I can get mac OSx running on it ;-)
