Hi Nico
Thank you for the invitation and the information. I will try and get info of the JHB peeps a.s.a.p. so I can organise a nice party for the jhb peeps with the 12.10 release. I think I might have a nice venue, but no internet connection, so I will also org it a bit later than the release date.
Will hopefully see you in a few weeks

Subject: Precise Release Party in JHB ?
Hi Dewald
I think Maia is good and organizes the Ubuntu Launch Parties for the
chaps in the cape.
I don't know if the Joburg chaps are slack regarding Ubuntu Launch
Parties ?
I dont even kwow if they do Ubuntu Launch Parties there ?
I wrote this email not to offend our Joburg friends, *but to get them to
do something there* and if they have planned something *to let us know*.
*It seems only the Pretoria "Praetorians" are having one this year in
Gauteng*, I tried to give the Randburg chaps a chance and did not host
the previous release party , it was a flop and we all got nothing for it.
So I have put my foot down this time we will have our party at Irene in
Pretoria and on the 5th May
I chose the date late so I can guarantee we will have a working copy of
the distro for the chaps.
You are welcome to join us if you can spare the fuel costs and the
e-toll costs
*Just remember to put your passport on the dashboard of your car* when
driving here as you will have to cross the "*Boerewors Curtain*"
We have also invited the chaps from House4Hack to join us . Its going to
be a big occasion this time

Kind regards
Nico Michael
