~/.profile gets run at logon. You can place any startup commands in
there. To start nm after a short delay try: (sleep 20s && nm-applet) &

Hehe ty Wes. you forget you gotta spell it all out nicely in mechanic
language. ~/.profile in terminal says i need permissions and when i sudo
it it says file not found
