[ubuntu-za] Xubuntu and Nautilus

I run both Unity and Xfce (using Xubuntu) on this machine. I have to
use Xubuntu because Gimp still does not work well under Unity (it
crashes frequently, its toolbars get confused and refer to the wrong
window and so on).

I have nothing against Thunar, but would like to stick to a single
file manager – beside which I enjoy Nautilus Scripts.

Is there a way of making Nautilus my default file manager under
Xubuntu? For instance, so that when I insert a stick, Nautilus is
called up and not Thunar? (I already have Nautilus as a desktop icon
but would like to go a bit further).

Thanks,
  Bill
