[ubuntu-za] Skype launcher crashes on each reboot

Hi Jan!

Not familiar with skype myself but I have heard some issues popping up
since Microsofts acquisition of the app. I'm guessing bugs due to backwards
compatability and updates.

Do you install the repo version, or the setup download from their website?

The purge fix hints towards a config snafu, one such gremlin, Google says,
is a missing country selection in the options. Its worth a try imo:
askubuntu.com/questions/156041/skype-4-0-keeps-crashing

Failing that, run skype via a terminal so you can see any offending errors.
