[ubuntu-za] Getting some performance back from Ubuntu 11.10

Hi Bruce,

My computer was rather quick on Natty (11:04) but since Oneiric, has slowed
considerable.
I uninstalled Gwibber and my system does seem to work faster, but not
considerable.

Hoping that 12:04 is faster and more efficient.
