[ubuntu-za] trackpad unresponsive

Hi

Have anybody else experienced this?

After installing  ubuntu linux's kernel 3.0.0-16 my netbook's (Packard 
Bell Dot S2) trackpad stoped responding.

A usb mouse does work so it's not a show stopper yet, also going back to 
3.0.0-15 does fix the problem.

I've also experienced it previously when I installed the 3.1 kernel from 
a ppa repository.

Any ideas on which files to check and what the possible problem can be 
would be nice.
