[ubuntu-za] Well done Ubuntu ........ 12:04 is a treat

Morning gents & ladies

Has 12.04 fixed any of the functionality 11.10 broke?, Like the
ability to configure multiple proxies/locations and switch through
them at with ease; dynamically change my external monitor from LCD to
projector and back without having to reboot and a number of other
irritations?

Having had Ubuntu installed on my notebook and other PC's for years,
these irritations are pushing me away but before I follow the crowds
and switch to Mint Linux I am wanting to see if 12.04 is a significant
improvement. Unity, while showing huge potential, is not ready IMHO
and much of the functionality and ability to customise removed in
11.10 is really annoying :(
