[ubuntu-za] 12.10 gripes

Hi Wikus

It is a little buggy, but that comes from not being an LTS. As I understand
Quantal is a different or updated kernal than used in 12.04. The slowness
occurs on my brand new 4 month old laptop. But this is in relation to
Precise, it still beats Windows hands down. That said should you get the
graphics working which would usually just be an update you would have no
problems. Precise also had that irritating we found an error thing, but
that can be disabled. The benefits of Quantal in my view outweigh the
negatives i.e. web apps, better top right menu, preview option in dash etc.

Best
Leon
