As for as I have read on the net, you will not be able to install Ubuntu on Pi, well not the full image. 

I think Ubuntu will do very good on phones. I think the must work side by side with Android. Latest stats show that mac is loosing out to Android. Compete against Android? YES

I think Android and Ubnutu will be the os everybody wants. Windows will take small peaces, and oyes Google is working on there own phone os, and Mozila too, Firefox for phones.  

That's my 2 cents.
