[ubuntu-za] What are the steps to install KDE 4.11 on ubuntu12.04 ?

hello everybody,

In last two months i have tried to install KDE on my ubuntu 12.04.03 many
times and i crashed  my build many times. Last time i entered these
commands to my terminal to install kde on my ubuntu.

sudo apt-get install kde-full
chosen kdm as windows manager during installation
reboot
login in kde enviornment
sudo apt-get install deborphan
sudo apt-get remove unity unity-2d unity-2d-common unity-2d-panel
unity-2d-shell unity-2d-spread unity-asset-pool unity-common
unity-lens-applications unity-lens-files unity-lens-music unity-lens-video
unity-scope-musicstores unity-scope-video-remote unity-services
indicator-messages indicator-status-provider-mc5 appmenu-qt appmenu-gtk
appmenu-gtk3 lightdm unity-greeter overlay-scrollbar zeitgeist
zeitgeist-core zeitgeist-datahub activity-log-manager-common
activity-log-manager-control-center
sudo apt-get autoremove
sudo apt-get purge `deborphan`
sudo dpkg --purge `dpkg -l | egrep "^rc" | cut -d' ' -f3`

So far everything was good. Successfully installed kde 4.8 on my machine.
rebooted successfully many times.
But when i upgraded to kde 4.11 using kubuntu backport repo.
*sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kubuntu-ppa/backports*
*sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade*

after rebooting my xserver is gone and i'm getting error on giving startx
command that my x file in /usr/bin is missing. (see attachment)

If anybody have solution please help me. or tell me what are the steps to
install KDE 4.11 on my ubuntu 12.04.03 64 bit safely . I'm trying to build
my own distro so kind of i need to install ubuntu 12.04.03 for it's 3.8
kernel rather than kubuntu 12.04.03 .
