Hi guys

Just some feedback...

Our exhibit at the Monash Open Day went well. It wasn't as busy as we 
hoped, but we still had plenty of good discussions. Amazing how few 
people never heard of Linux. Most of them were totally amazed by what 
Ubuntu could offer them. We only distributed about 20 DVDs, but I'm 
pretty certain all of them are going to try it out. We also handed out 
almost 200 newsletters/flyers that spread the news about Ubuntu.

We'll be back at Monash during registration week. We'll be handing out 
more DVDs then. We even plan to offer a service to revive old laptops 
with Linux at the booth while they wait.

The best news is that we have the full support of the IT department at 
Monash. They've requested that we help them convert some of the loan 
laptops for students to Linux. I think Ubuntu will make some serious 
inroads at Monash this year!!

Hopefully we'll see some of you there!
