Hi Guys
Just stumbled across a useful app: aptik-backup
Whenever I upgrade my version of Ubuntu, I loose all my additional
applications I installed. I can never remember everything and often
struggle to find the PPAs for some of the applications. This app solves
this problem by backing the list of installed application; those from
the repositories and those from PPAs. It then attempts to restore all
your PPAs and applications automatically.
I've used yPPA manager before, but its focused on PPAs only. Aptik is
more specific to my needs. Here's a link to a detailed article on it,
including how to install it:

With this app, I'm looking forward to upgrading to 14.04!!
