Hi Leon,

I'm sure that there are good tools out there, but I'd just like to sound 
a warning too. Remember that the vast majority of photo and video 
formats that we use are already considerably compressed. Further 
compression can very easily result in drastically lowered image/video 
quality. (think what some photos look like on Facebook after their 
compression algorithm has had a go) With this in mind, I'd recommend 
looking at software that compresses a file/folder, and then 
extracts/uncompressess it again for use - such as zip, etc., rather than 
software that permanently compresses an already compressed image/video.
