Hi Ashton,
Thanks for the reply. I'm not even sure if the ACPI thing is linked in
any way - just something that came up in one of the many online threads
I followed. I'll try the "kill -9 -1" thing just now, after a couple of
downloads have finished. What exactly does "kill -9 -1" do?
