Hi Ubuntu fundis,

Please help.

Running on Ubuntu 14.04, my D-Link 2750U ADSL router has been 
reconfigured, with IP address 10.0.0.2 and DHCP from 10.0.0.3 to 
10.0.0.254.

Problem is, my HP Officejet 6313 printer runs on 10.0.0.3 which creates 
conflict.

I had this problem before and I know that one of the above was reset to 
10.0.0.4 to avoid the conflict - that was the end of my problems, which 
have now resurfaced.
However, I cannot remember how these settings were corrected. Do I 
change the DHCP to 10.0.0.4 and is there anything that I should watch 
out for that can go wrong? The linked computers are configured to obtain 
their IPv4 settings automatically, their additional DNS servers are set 
on 10.0.0.2.
