I HATE Unity and Gnome shell!  Unfortunately, both Mate and Cinnamon 
have some changes that are less then wonderful to me.

That said, 16.04 is the first release I have been looking forward to in 
a long time.  For one thing gnome-panel support is much better and 
getting a clean Ubuntu with the old Gnome 2 look and feel is easier then 
ever!

I had it on a laptop for the last few weeks of the beta, and was very 
happy!  I installed it on my media center PC after release, and other 
then one bog with the totem menue bar, it has been perfect!  I am 
installing it on a KVM server today and we will see if it fixed some odd 
bugs with 14.04...
